Talisman Tattoo is Northern New Mexico's premier custom tattoo shop featuring tattooing and piercing
talent from around the country. We are the oldest running tattoo shop in Taos, with over 30 years of
collective experience. With four renowned tattoo artists specializing in a wide variety of styles including
traditional/americana, realism, japanese, new school, black and grey, and portraits, we strive to raise the bar
and take custom tattoo work to the next level for you.
Our professionally trained piercers (Fakir Intensives, San Francisco) are experienced, friendly, and efficient.
We offer a generous jewelry selection of implant grade stainless steel, bone, wood, horn, stone, gold, and much more.
We offer hospital- grade sterilization and employees trained in CPR and first aid, and would love to show you our
separate sterilization room that meets and exceeds health department standards. We invite you to visit our beautiful
studio at 226 Paseo del Pueblo Sur, in the adobe building directly in front of Smith's. We can now offer private
tattoo and piercing rooms, and free parking directly south and west of the building.
